Who we are

This website is operated by Elysian Animal Assisted Interventions Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 15197849, registered office Westland Farm, Lordshill Common, Shamley Green, Guildford, GU5 0TL, which is the data controller for the information described below. What this site collects

This site has four forms, and collects nothing else about you beyond what you choose to submit through one of them:

• Professional referral enquiry: name, role, organisation, email, phone, service of interest, preferred site, a brief summary of what is needed, and how you heard about Elysian.
• Family enquiry: name, relationship to the child, email, phone, your child's age, local authority if known, what you are looking for, and preferred contact method.
• General contact: name, email, phone, subject and message.
• Expression of interest in working at Elysian: name, role of interest, preferred working pattern and site, whether you are within commuting distance, term-time preference if relevant, expected salary, email, phone, confirmation you are over 18, how you heard about the vacancy, and your postal address.

These forms are built deliberately not to collect a child's diagnosis, health information, EHCP content or safeguarding history, and each one asks you directly not to include it. Detailed referral information continues to travel by the existing route: the downloadable referral forms sent to refer@elysianuk.org.

What we do not do

This site does not use cookies for analytics or tracking, so no cookie consent banner is needed: see Cookie information. It does not store form submissions in any database. The email each form sends is the only record.

What happens when you submit a form

Submitting a form sends two emails: one to the relevant Elysian inbox (refer@elysianuk.org for referral and family enquiries, admin@elysianuk.org for general contact, recruit@elysianuk.org for an expression of interest) containing what you entered, and an automatic acknowledgement to the email address you gave, confirming receipt. Both emails are sent through Resend, a transactional email delivery service, which processes the content of your submission on our behalf in order to deliver it. Resend does not use your data for any purpose of its own.

Lawful basis

We process what you submit on the basis of consent: you choose to fill in and submit the form. Where a submission is followed up, that follow-up is also necessary for us to take steps at your request before entering into a placement or arrangement, or to respond to your enquiry. For an expression of interest, it is necessary for us to take steps at your request before entering into an employment contract.

Retention

The website itself retains nothing: there is no database of submissions. Retention of the resulting emails follows Elysian's normal mailbox practice for refer@, admin@, recruit@ and the sender's own inbox, rather than any policy set by this website.

Your rights

You have the right to ask what personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected if it is wrong, to ask for it to be deleted, to object to or restrict how it is used, and to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office if you are unhappy with how your data has been handled.
