Our story
Elysian began in 2015 at Westland Farm, Shamley Green, initially as a livery yard while the site's facilities were developed. The livery operation wound down from August 2018, and in September 2020 the provision became a registered therapeutic secondary education provision for children and young people with SEN.

Elysian has since grown to three sites across Surrey and Hampshire, Shamley Green, West Horsley and Liss with a satellite provision at Froxfield, each a registered therapeutic education provision built around the same animal-assisted approach.
Elysian's mission is to support people across a vast variety of needs, facilitating animal-assisted therapeutic intervention, education, therapy and learning experiences. Its motto, Enjoy, Believe, Achieve, and its values, compassion, growth, inclusion, respect, community and excellence, run through the work at every site.
What guides the work

- Leadership means ownership.
