Accessibility statement

What this site does

• Every page works fully with JavaScript switched off, including all three forms, which validate and submit as plain HTML.
• A skip-to-content link is the first focusable thing on every page.
• Every interactive element has a visible focus state.
• Headings follow a correct, logical order on every page.
• Form fields have real labels, and errors are announced and linked to the field they belong to, not shown as colour alone.
• Body text uses a warm, highly legible typeface (Atkinson Hyperlegible, designed for readers with low vision and dyslexia), generous line height, and no justified or all-capitals text.
• Animation and transitions respect your device's reduced-motion setting.
• Colour contrast has been checked against the site's actual colour palette, not assumed: see the project's own token documentation for the exact figures.
• Photographs are described in their alt text, not just labelled by filename or keyword.

Target standard

This site is built to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA. A full, page-by-page accessibility audit has not yet been completed and published; the points above describe what has been built in, not the result of a formal audit.

Known limitations

Several sections of the site are still being built (see the navigation for what exists today), and some pages, including this one, have not yet had a dedicated accessibility review beyond the standards built into every page template.
