Reptile Connections Group – Explore, Learn, and Grow!
Welcome to Reptile Connections, an exciting and enriching programme designed for children and young people aged 6-16 who thrive in smaller, flexible learning environments. Perfect for those who are home-educated, on part-time school timetables, between school placements, or exploring alternative provision options, this weekly group provides a unique opportunity to learn in a supportive, hands-on setting.
Held every Wednesday afternoon from 1-3 pm at our Froxfield site in Hampshire, Reptile Connections uses fascinating reptiles to inspire learning, build confidence, and develop essential life skills. Each session is led by experienced Elysian staff and includes interactive lessons on reptile care, animal welfare, and environmental science, blending hands-on experience with valuable educational content.
Children and young people gain AQA unit awards throughout the programme, including:
- Introduction to Reptiles
- Animal Health Care: Exotics
- Researching Animal Habitats
Through activities tailored to their developmental and social needs, participants develop social, emotional, and mental health skills that they can carry forward in life. Groups are kept small to ensure individual attention, with age-appropriate groupings allowing every participant to feel comfortable and engaged.
Why Choose Reptile Connections?
