Available at our Froxfield site Tuesdays from Janaury 2025 1-3pm
Creative Connections is a unique weekly programme designed for home-educated children and young people aged 6-16, who are looking to build social skills, explore creative outlets, and develop valuable life skills in a fun, supportive environment. Sessions run every Tuesday afternoon at our Froxfield site, which offers ample space for both indoor and outdoor activities.
Each two-hour session focuses on a theme for the term—in Spring, we’re excited to delve into “Creativity and Animal Connections.” Young people will participate in a range of hands-on activities, including animal care, outdoor learning, art projects, and practical skill-building, all tailored to their individual interests. For those less inclined toward art, options like animal treat-making and nature crafts are available, ensuring a fulfilling experience for everyone.
Participants will also work toward AQA unit awards, earning recognition for their achievements in areas like animal care, social skills, and outdoor education. This structured but flexible programme encourages growth, builds confidence, and celebrates individuality—all within a relaxed, low-demand atmosphere.
Creative Connections is perfect for those seeking friendship, new experiences, and an opportunity to learn in a positive, nurturing setting.
